My Monster High Create-A-Monster skeleton! Mattel made a skeleton doll, guys.

So, I've actually been wanting to paint a monochrome Calavera, but assumed it's be a Blythe with bright hair. I started this gal out in full color, but immediately thought it too much. I wanted her to look less "painted" and more like a pretty, almost lacy skeleton. Then she got a top hat and some sass. I love her. I think I'm going to paint her spine shoes a bit and make her a cigarette holder...

Oh BAH, I was at Wal_art and they had the create-a-monster accessories but not the basic doll. The package they DID had contained the head & skeleton arms & legs but I suspect the latter would not work in any barbie or even regular MH doll, would it? The attachment is quite different from any Barbie I've dismembered and I'm supposing Matel used the same basic structure for MH dolls, right?? If I could have ANY possible combination, it would be interesting to see how the three-eyed head would look with skeletal arms & legs. Oh and btw, the afformentioned package came with a dress and AWESOME high-heeled shoes, the heels being like backbones!! ^_^

Yup, you need one of the 2 larger packs to get a torso. The larger sets each come with parts for 2 different characters, but one torso. The add on packs come with lower limbs, a head, wig and outfit. The torso in these pictures is from the Werewolf/dragon set. People have gotten the add on parts to work with regular MH dolls, but it takes some modding and seems difficult for the legs especially.

I know, I love the shoes!! They actually are harder to appreciate on the skeleton feet, so I may paint on some detail. I love the dress too -- and it hides all of the torso if you want a more complete "skeleton."
