It is 101° F here today
We had a bubble fight, made fruit cubes and recorded 3 episodes of Gideon's Show. It's tricky keeping busy while neither spending money nor being outside for too long, but heat wave, you have not defeated me yet.
In other news, I like dollies.
I continue to love Lemon. For some reason, I want her to have an endless wardrobe while most of my dolls have to fight over the few nothings I've made them. 1olly and fills me with squee. (She'll be reprimanded, Carrie.) Surreptitiously, those Lati girls were here to model clothes for me so the plan has been to sew for that size all along.
I sort of want to paint her as a Calavera. Did anyone see that coming?
Also, she is the new American Apparel model.
I've dyed and permed Lagoona's hair and I might repaint her lips (and maaaaybe remove her eyebrows?) I don't really want to change them too much, though I might also change Draculaura's lips and brows. (Really, I think I just want to de-glitter the two of them.) I need to dress them and I think they may need matching school uniforms.

Did you get the message I left on your answering machine last week? I was traveling past to get some buttons and tea so I thought I'd try to drop off your books. No problem though, I should be back that way before too long. I noticed there's a shop on Fabric Row that seems to sell mostly ribbon & trim, possibly new? I haven't seen it before, anyway.

I didn't realize that Draculaura was quite so PINK from the promo pics -- I'm glad I found out! (May still get her, I think she's adorable, but I wouldn't have wanted it to be a surprise, y'know?)
I <3 Frankie and Clawdette [for obvious reasons] to a ridiculous extent, and I'm still tempted by Draculaura . . . oh, what to do? You just HAD to tell me they were on sale, you evil temptress! ;)

They each have unique headsculpts, which I am very impressed by. Draculaura has pointy ears and Lagoona has fin-ears!

I wish they sold original-version Cleo without the boy doll . . . booooo. I love her, but he's not to my taste.
Clawdeen (although I think I'll call her Clawdette, I like my version better, LOL) is just so damn cute -- and I adore her skintone!
